Thomas T. Oliver, 62, died Friday, March 14, 2014. Born in Wadesboro, NC he was a son of the late Marion and Dorothy Ballard Oliver. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. He was and electrician employed by Crown, Cork and Seal.
Mr. Oliver was an avid Clemson and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed watching Football and Westerns on TV. He had a unique personality and was humorous and witty. He enjoyed spending time with his friends.
Surviving are his daughters, Sara Charlene (Larry) Blackman of Cheraw, SC, Crystal (Chris) Oliver Brock of Cheraw, SC, brothers, Jay (Judy) Oliver of Chesterfield, SC, Edward “Ernie” (Karen) Oliver of Columbia, SC, sisters Ginger (Sampson) Morton of Chesterfield, SC, Anne (Robbie) Moore of Ruby, SC Patricia “Bunk” (Russell) Lindsey of Chesterfield, SC, grandchildren, Clayton Brock, Cole Brock, Matthew Reep, Kayla Blackman, Avery Blackman, and Sara Rylee Blackman.
He was preceded in death by his parents listed above a brother, Phillip Oliver and a nephew, Scott Morton.

Tom was a helicopter door gunner and stationed on Marble Mountain. He said the two things in his life that he was proudest of was his service to his country and his two daughters.
I appreciate you posting for me. He was my best friend as well as my beloved brother.
